Rattlesnakes!?

Rattlesnakes and clown suits and blowholes, oh my! Ten clown suits, one blowhole called La Bufadora, and I didn't see any rattlesnakes but Christina claims she saw one slithering across the path and hiding in the bushes. Here's last week in summary:
Free Soup!
Translating during Marie's testimony
  • Destiny week with Brenda Lewis! Loved her! Lots of fun talking personalities, giftings, and the revealing of our story and calling(s)
    • I scored high in Encouragement, Teaching, and Wisdom/Knowledge
  • Gearing up for our last week on base, leaving on the 29th for Mexico City (D.F.) and then by April 11th we'll be in Costa Rica.
  • A group of five of us were put in charge of creating a park ministry program similar to last Friday's to take to the colonias on Thursday. Thus, more clown costumes, more free soup, more skits, and more hilarity. I translated for the testimonies and skit explanations and got to pray for a number of people after our program was over.
  • This weekend we visited La Bufadora, which is an outcropping of rocks that's shape combined with the waves, shoots water hundreds of feet into the air. It's a beautiful view!
  • La Bufadora
  • We also got to go to this hidden beach called Puertitos where we surfed, swam for hours, and were genuinely warned about the dangers of rattlesnakes as we walked the path to get there!
  • "The Clincher" drama is coming along nicely: our sinner looks distressed, the demons are working on channeling their inner sin, Satan knows how to get his butt kicked, and Jesus is learning the art of being dramatic. Can't wait to see us perform it in front of a crowd!
Winter DTS 2016!
This week we've been prepping our bags and in a matter of days we'll be off to the capital. Wish us luck!
