One Fish Taco Please!

To summarize my last week:

  • Tried fish tacos for the first time, and I can't get enough!
  • Got to build another home for a family just outside of Ensenada - Adrian, Marine, and their son Adrian Jr.
  • Zumba classes cost only $1.75
  • Pancake parties on the weekends, whoop whoop!
  • Tuesdays I get to work with the 3-5 year olds at Circulo Andante, the child's ministry. Yolei is the cutest little girl there and loves when I play "horse" with her. I also spent a good ten minutes catching tadpoles with the rest of the kids.
  • Thursday was our first park ministry! We did worship, prayed for healing for Antonia's neck, and met Roma who told us about his work with the people on the streets.
  • Friday was my first time going out with Beauty Arise, our red-light district ministry. We prayed over the hotels in the area, and later with a man who was making his way home but was resting because of an injury in his back.
  • Became friends with a darling lady named Gizel, who is now my friend on Facebook and is making me practice my Spanish with her so that "the others can see you practicing and want to do the same."
Still so in love with being in Mexico, in Ensenada! I joke, but depending on how the elections go...I might just have to stay here for a bit!
